ratioCHICAGO, IL, July 23rd - Five of today’s most exciting Latin alternative rock bands will be featured in the Circo Rocktastico Tour, presented by Metro, RatioNation.com and MTV Tr3s on August 22, 2008 at 8:00 PM. The night begins with the winner of the “La Banda Que Queda” contest winner followed by AutoVaughn, Astra Heights,The May Fire, and climaxes with Monte Negro.
 
36th Annual Fiesta del Sol
fdsThe Pilsen Neighbors Community Council (PNCC) is proud to announce the 36th Annual Fiesta Del Sol celebration.  Hosted in Pilsen, the four-day festival will take place on Thursday, July 31st through Sunday, August 3rd.  Fiesta Del Sol has become a nationally publicized event that now draws over one million people to the streets of Pilsen each summer. All entertainment and activities are free of admission and promote family-friendly entertainment.  Unlike other festivals, Fiesta Del Sol is alcohol and tobacco sponsorship-free and this year will focus on health issues, encouraging and promoting a healthy and active lifestyle for all.

Chicago had the pleasure of rockin' the night away at Metro for the latest version of Ratio's (together with Metro) Indiecent event featuring Mexico's Los Dynamite, band that was recently featured in Rolling Stone Magazine and the New York Times. Ratio's efforts in bringing new music to our city continues to grow as the demand for the latest indie tunes continues to evolve. The night also featured Subatomico and DJs Nando, Cedeño, Dirty Dave and Victor Lua.
